How long does it take to get a title loan?

Depends on what time of the day you start. If you start your process in the morning or early afternoon, we can get the money to you the same day.   

What is the interest rate?

7.5% on loans $5000 or more. 8% on loans under $5000. This is a monthly interest rate.  

How long do I have to pay back the title loan?

When we write the loan we work with you to get a payment you can afford. This means that we could write the loan for 2-3 years but it all depends on you.  

I wanted a short term loan. Is this different?

Not at all. Keep the money out as little as a month. The interest is a monthly rate, compounded daily.

What documents are needed?

• Copy of your drivers license
• Original Title (if you have it)
• Insurance (see below)
• References
• Proof of residence (verify where you live)
• Proof that you have some income of at least $1500 a month 

I don't have full insurance. Can I still do this?

We require that you have full insurance on your vehicle during the loan and if you don't have it, we can take care of this for you. Please ask the underwriter for more details.  

Should I come to your office first?

It is always better to allow us to do your title loan work at our main office as this is faster (we have more man power). After we put the loan together, we will have the local office hand you the money face to face.  

Do I need to be employed?

We require that you show us that you bring in $1500 a month income but that can be from many sources. You can be retired or on disability. 

I was rejected by my bank because of my credit. IS this going to be an issue with you?

We only look at your credit to see if you are in current bankruptcy right now.  

I live in California but my car is titled in another state. Is this a problem?

Let us know and we can get all your title work done at the same time but this will have to be changed to California.   

My mortgage (or rent) is late. Is this a problem?

You can be behind in your normal payments.  

Do I have to have a checking account at the bank?

We hand you the money directly but we do ask self employed people to have a checking account.

How does my car title get changed at the DMV?

Because of the massive volume of business with the DMV, we do all this for you so you have no issues with this.
